Key Findings Include:

• Netflix dominates Canadian streaming. The streaming platform has 22 of the Top 25 most-streamed NEW titles in 2024.
• Canadian audiences love Action movies. Online demand for movies increased in the first half of 2024, with the theatrical release of Action movies such as The Beekeeper (#11), The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (#20), and Argyll (#38), and the Netflix streaming release of xXx: Return of Xander Cage (#1).
• Rise in international content. 2024 has seen an increase in appetite for international titles, with content countries of origin spanning across 31 countries in Q1-Q2 2024 compared to 20 countries in 2023.
• High Appetite for UK content. 3 of the Top 5 most-streamed titles in 2024 originated from the UK, with the territory also being the country of origin for 19% of the Top 100 Most Popular titles by online demand.
