La Roche-Posay and Auswide Bank have topped YouGov’s 2024 Women’s Rankings
In line with International Women’s Day, YouGov has put together the top-ranking brands for female customers in two categories.
The ranks for financial and personal care sectors, reveal the brands that are the most positively perceived.
These rankings are based on YouGov’s BrandIndex - a syndicated brand tracker which continuously collects data on thousands of brands every day - looked at financial service providers and personal care brands’ former and current customers, and analysed the most positively perceived brands among female customers between the period of 1st March 2023 and 29th February 2024.
For the financial services sector, Auswide Bank took first place with a score of 69.54 - calculated as an average of six metrics; Impression, Quality, Value, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation and Consideration.
Auswide Bank is one of Australia’s oldest banks, only the 10th listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1966. Although its customer base is smaller than some of the larger competitors on this list, the bank has cemented its positive perception with female customers.
Second place was buy-now, pay-later platform, Pay in 4 by PayPal at 68.28, followed by Beyond Bank at 65.71.
Rounding out the top five was PayPal with a score of 63.99, and UBank with 62.11.
Of female customers for personal care brands, skincare brand, La Roche-Posay achieved the highest average score with 67.81.
With a range of products for face, body and sun protection, La Roche-Posay has cemented its positive perception with female customers – as reflected by achieving the number one spot.
In second place was CeraVe, with 63.94, followed by Colgate at 61.80.
Rounding out the top five was QV, with a score of 61.55, followed by Ecostore with 59.56.
Methodology: YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. YouGov examined brands within the financial services and personal care categories between March 1, 2023, and February 29, 2024. The brands were filtered by female former and customers and then ranked using an overall score calculated as an average of six metrics: Impression, Quality, Value, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation and Consideration scores.
