Ace Hardware leads with rise in Ad Awareness from 19.3% to 25.2%, an increase of 5.9 percentage points. The company recently held its 2025 Spring Convention held in March, which featured a comprehensive showcase of holiday products and served to invigorate retailers. Ace’s social channels have also been helping consumers get ready for lawn care and barbecue season.
iPhone follows with an increase of 4.7 percentage points, rising from 38.1% to 42.8%. The brand’s Ad Awareness growth may be linked to the launch of the iPhone 16e on February 28, 2025. Apple promoted the device with a short advertisement featuring an inflatable air dancer holding the new iPhone, designed for social media engagement. Additionally, collaborations with fashion brand Jacquemus for the “La Croisière” campaign further elevated the iPhone’s visibility during this period. “Someday” by Spike Jones showcases new AirPods with Active Noise Cancellation.
While Tesla continues to suffer sharply negative Buzz amid concerns over Elon Musk’s increased involvement in politics, the brand’s Ad Awareness is on the rise. Tesla experienced a gain of 4.3 percentage points, increasing from 11.7% to 16.0%. The increase may be related to Tesla’s recent advertising initiatives on the social media platform X, which mark a new chapter in the company’s marketing strategy. However, some consumers may also have come across viral anti-Tesla ads posted in London, UK.

A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” Data is derived from surveys of US adults aged 18 years and above, covering the period from February y 26 to March 25, 2025. Ad Awareness scores are based on a four-week moving average, and changes are calculated by taking the difference between the highest and lowest scoring days within the period.
