March’s UK Advertisers of the Month are Cadbury Creme Egg, Disney+ and Shark, each exhibiting significant increases in Ad Awareness as tracked by YouGov BrandIndex. Ad Awareness measures the percentage of consumers who have seen an advertisement for a brand in the past two weeks.
Cadbury Creme Egg leads for the second consecutive month with a notable rise in Ad Awareness, moving from 14.4% on February 26 to 20.9% on March 25, an increase of 6.5 percentage points. This surge could be attributed to the soon approaching Easter season.
Disney+ follows with an increase of 5.0 percentage points, rising from 23.7% on February 28 to 28.7% on March 25. The brand’s Ad Awareness growth may be linked to its heavy promotion of content releases in March, including the new Moana 2 and Wicked.
Shark rounds out the top three with a gain of 5.0 percentage points, increasing from 10.4% on February 28 to 15.3% on March 25. The increase is likely driven by Shark’s new FlexBreeze HydroG Misting Portable Fan advertisement.
Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of British adults aged 18+ between 26 February and 25 March 2025. Learn more about BrandIndex.
