Games of Thrones, The Witcher and Secret Invasion are the most in-demand titles in the UK for the last half of July. The chart below comes from YouGov Signal, a social listening tool that tracks the performance of TV programs, movies and brands. Here are the ones with the highest peak Appetite Scores among UK audiences in the past two weeks:
The most in-demand title in the UK for the last half of July last published a new episode in 2019. Still, Game of Thrones remains a hot topic among British audiences this summer, appearing on highest-demand lists throughout June and July.
The Witcher’s appetite score for July 16-31 dropped slightly to 99.07 from 99.22 in the previous period. However, this near-perfect score was still enough to hold its spot as the second most in-demand title in the UK. Volume two of the third series was released on July 27, which may be enough to keep audiences interested into August.
Disney+’s Secret Invasion has climbed five positions to number three. The Marvel Comics storyline follows a conspiracy of shapeshifting Skrulls to control Earth. The series finale, released on July 26, sets up two upcoming MCU movies.
After a two-week hiatus, the UEFA Champions League is back on the highest-demand list at number nine.
