Fool Me Once, Friends and The Big Bang Theory: The UK’s most-streamed TV, January 2024
Fool Me Once, Friends and The Big Bang Theory are the most-streamed titles in the UK for January 2024. The chart below shows how many views and viewers each title had on the platform where it was most popular. The chart also shows the average number of views per viewer (Vs/Vr), which is an indicator of how much consumers are bingeing a particular title.
Fool Me Once, released on New Year’s Day, is the most-streamed title in the UK (and in America) for January. The British series focuses on the aftermath of a mysterious maybe-murder through a series of twists and turns that have divided audiences. While critics have not been universally pleased with the program, its 15.7 million UK viewers are proof that there’s something to it.
The second and third most-streamed spots are occupied by bingeable sitcoms Friends and The Big Bang Theory, with 29 and 49 views per viewer respectively. While the audiences for these titles are smaller than for new series like Fool Me Once, viewers tend to watch many more episodes of Friends and The Big Bang Theory per month.
Loudermilk, a Canadian comedy-drama, is new on the list at number six. The three-season series follows caustic substance abuse counselor Sam Loudermilk. While the third and final season was released in 2020, the series was licensed to Netflix this January. With 30.2 million streams in that month, it appears this was a winning choice.
