Top technology brands in 2022: Denmark, Sweden, and Finland
YouGov’s Technology Rankings 2022 highlights the most-favored consumer brands in the technology sector in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden.
Data for this research were drawn from YouGov BrandIndex, which measures consumer perceptions towards brands on a daily basis. The ranking examines the best performing tech brands according to their overall Index scores between April 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022. YouGov’s Index scores are our measure of a brand’s overall health.
The top brands in the Nordics
The highest score across Denmark, Finland and Sweden is achieved by Samsung in Finland, scoring 38.2. Furthermore, all Nordic countries have ranked the South Korean company as number one in the tech rankings. Other than that, the three counties are relatively divided when it comes to ranking the other tech brands.
In Denmark, Apple and Bang & Olufsen are following right behind Samsung, both scoring 30.7.
In Finland, Sony is ranked second in the technology ranking. However, they are a full 10 points behind Samsung with a score of 28.2.
The Swedish home appliance manufacturer Electrolux takes second place in their own country scoring 24.0, followed closely by Apple.

Methodology
Every day, YouGov BrandIndex measures the public’s perception of thousands of brands across the world. The brands included in YouGov’s brand rankings were ranked based on their Index score, a measure of overall brand health calculated by taking the average perception of General Impression, Quality, Value, Customer Satisfaction, Recommend, and Corporate Reputation over a period of 12 months (from April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022).
YouGov BrandIndex conducts millions of interviews across the world every year across 40 sectors. It operates in over 55 markets around the world, covering North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Australasia.
