UK’s Biggest Brand Movers (September 2024): A good month for postal companies
Royal Mail claims the top spot in the latest edition of UK's Biggest Brand Movers, demonstrating significant improvements across nine of the thirteen metrics. Despite a decline in WOM Exposure, the postal service shows strong gains in brand perception and purchase funnel metrics. It isn’t the only mail service to feature in the list, as Post Office also makes the list with seven upticks.
Pantene secures the second position with upticks in nine metrics, including a clean sweep of purchase funnel metrics. Pantene may have benefitted from its marketing efforts associated with its sponsorship of the Paris Olympics 2024 as well as the subsequent Paralympic Games.
Amstel, the beer brand, takes third place with improvements in nine metrics spanning all three categories.
Google Chromebook showed gains in eight metrics, concentrated in the media and brand perception categories.
Boohoo, the online fashion retailer, claims the fifth spot with improvements in seven metrics, particularly in brand perception.
PlayStation secures sixth place, demonstrating upticks in seven metrics across media and brand perception categories. These upticks could have to with (now confirmed) rumours about the PlayStation 5 Pro console.
Nescafé, Pizza Express, and Santander round out the top 10.
