In the next six months, 14% of gamers plan to purchase a gaming headset. This trend extends to other accessories as well. For instance, 13% of gamers are looking to buy a gaming controller. Gaming chairs are also on the list, with 12% of gamers planning to buy one. Gaming monitors are considered by 10% of gamers.
When it comes to gaming mouse, 10% of gamers plan to purchase one. Similar patterns are seen with steering wheels, gaming keyboards, high-end graphics cards, gaming mousepads, gaming controller grips, and gaming speakers.
The main considerations for purchasing gaming accessories among gamers highlight a few key factors. Quality and price are equally important, with 64% of gamers citing both as significant considerations. Features and technical specifications are also crucial, with 34% of gamers prioritizing them. Brand matters to 29% of gamers. Consumer or gamer reviews influence 25% of gamers, while availability is another factor for 25%. Color and design are important for 23% of gamers.
Recommendations from friends or family play a role for 21% of gamers. Expert or professional reviews are considered by 19% of gamers. Shipping time is a consideration for 11% of gamers. Lastly, gaming influencers and esports team sponsorships have a slight impact, with 9% of gamers influenced by gaming influencers, and 5% considering esports team sponsorships.
