UAE's April Advertiser of the Month: Danube, Motiongate Dubai, and Dubai Airports
Danube saw the largest growth this month in terms of Ad Awareness in the UAE, followed by Motiongate Dubai at number two and Dubai Airports in third place. According to YouGov BrandIndex data, which tracks brand perception on a daily basis, these three brands saw the highest increase in Ad Awareness during February, making them our top three Advertisers of the Month in the UAE.
The Ad Awareness question asks consumers if they have seen an advertisement for a brand in the previous two weeks, and the difference in scores (highest vs lowest) for the month determines our Advertisers of the Month.
Dubai-based private real estate developer Danube Properties recently announced the launch of a gym facility featuring Salman Khan’s ‘Being Strong Fitness Equipment’ at its new Dh2.4 billion Diamondz project in Jumeirah Lake Towers. The introduction of this gym aligns with the unveiling of the 65-storey Diamondz, the 15th project launched by Danube Properties in the past 24 months. YouGov BrandIndex shows Danube’s Ad Awareness metric rose by 11.1 percentage points from 21.2% on March 27 to 32.3% on April 25.
On second place is Motiongate Dubai which had an increase of 6.2 percentage points in Ad Awareness from 6.7% on March 30 to 12.9% on April 24.
Ranking third on our list is Dubai Airports which had an increase of 5.9 percentage points in Ad Awareness from 23.6% on April 1 to 29.5% on April 24.
Methodology: YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” Data from surveys of adults aged 18 years and above residing in the UAE from 26 March to 25 April 2024. Ad Awareness scores are based on a four-week moving average. The change in scores for each brand is calculated by taking the difference between the highest and lowest scoring days within the period.
