Cadbury Creme Egg registered the biggest increase in Advertising Awareness for February 2024 of all brands YouGov tracks in the UK. According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, which tracks perceptions toward brands on a daily basis, the chocolate brand saw an uplift of 11.5 percentage points throughout the month.

In the lead up to Easter, Cadbury launched its annual campaign to boost awareness around the Cadbury Creme Egg. The campaign this season resurrected its ‘How do you eat yours’ tagline from two decades ago.

Samsung is the brand with the second-highest uptick in Ad Awareness. The tech brand increased from 17.7% on January 26 to 24.7% on February 17 (+6.9 percentage points). This surge in awareness could be attributed to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra earlier in the month and the promotional efforts around the phone release.

Rounding out the top three brands with the biggest uplift in Ad Awareness in the UK this February is Tesco Whoosh. The delivery brand saw a lift of 5.7 percentage points, which may be associated with Tesco Whoosh’s new sponsorship of the ‘Channel 4 Comedy’ strand of programming, a first for the brand.

Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of British adults aged 18+ between January 26 and February 25, 2024. Learn more about BrandIndex.
