US: GoDaddy signs diversity and inclusion pledge - What do business owners think of the cause?
GoDaddy has committed to ‘advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace’ after CEO Aman Bhutani signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion pledge.
With the internet domain and web hosting company aiming to further its DEI goals, we look at YouGov data to see what current business owners or those who plan on starting their own in the next 12 months feel about diversity and inclusion.
According to YouGov Profiles - which covers demographic, psychographic, attitudinal and behavioral consumer metrics - a majority of this group (70%) agrees with the statement that “institutions should have policies in place that support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.”
An equal proportion of GoDaddy’s current customers or those who would consider using the company’s services i.e, GoDaddy’s audience (70%) also agree with the statement.
Similarly, 68% of the general US population also agrees with the statement that “institutions should have policies in place that support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.”
