An Appetite Score is a value from 0-100 which measures the demand for given titles by combining web searches and Wikipedia lookups. Here are the titles with the highest peak Appetite Scores among US audiences for the last half of March:
Keanu Reeves, who plays the titular assassin in the John Wick series, is the center of America’s attention right now. Chapter 4 of the series, released in cinemas on March 24 is the most in-demand title in late March, and the only non-streaming title to make the chart.
The new film seems to be generating so much buzz that it also put the original John Wick back on the charts at number four.
Zombie apocalypse drama The Last of Us has fallen one spot to number 2, with an Appetite Score of 99.12.
The third position is held by RRR, the Indian epic centered on fictionalized versions of two revolutionaries and their fight against the British Raj. Originally released in 2022, RRR became the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time before being streamed on Netflix. The film nabbed an Oscar for Best Original Song with ‘Naatu Naatu.’
HBO comedy/drama Succession made it onto the list with the beginning of its fourth season on March 26 at number nine while Netflix fantasy Shadow and Bone came in at number ten.
