US Auto Advertiser of the Month (October): Lincoln
Lincoln (luxury car maker’s division of the Ford Motor Company) earns YouGov Auto Advertiser of the Month in October for registering the highest uplift in Ad Awareness score in the automotive sector.
According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, Lincoln’s Ad Awareness score saw a 4.2-point rise in October – starting at 9.8 on September 26 and reaching 14.0 on October 25. The Ad Awareness score reflects whether consumers have seen a commercial for a brand in the prior two weeks.
Earlier in October, the luxury car maker took to its social media pages to talk about its Lincoln Way App, which allows Lincoln drivers to control their car remotely through their phones and utilizing the full connectivity of the Lincoln vehicles. Lincoln, also, released a video in mid-October showcasing its partnership with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to design a sound that will be used in its range of cars to alert drivers.
Over the same period, Lincoln’s Impression score, which measures if consumers have a positive or negative impression of a brand, increased from 15.5 on September 26 to 16.6 on October 25 (+1.1).
