Advertiser of the month (Egypt): Tiger
Potato chips brand Tiger saw the highest uplift in Ad Awareness of all the brands we tracked in Egypt in the month of August.
According to data by YouGov BrandIndex, Tiger’s Ad Awareness, which evaluates how many people have seen a brand’s advertisement over the previous two weeks, rose by 8 points from 20 to 28 between July 25 to August 24.
Owned by premier snack manufacturing company Egypt Foods, Tiger chips is currently available in seven different flavours. The brand recently released a digital ad highlighting the different flavours it offers – which has garnered over five million views alone on YouTube.
The potato chips brand, which claims to offer “distinguished crunchiness” also saw a rise in Buzz, which gauges if consumers have heard something positive of negative about a brand. The score rose from 15 on July 25 to 20 on August 24 (+5.6). Consideration score (those who said the next time they were in the market to purchase snacks; they would consider Tiger) of Tiger also climbed up by 4.5 points – from 16 on July 25 to 20.5 on August 24.
