A new YouGov study into attitudes towards real estate investment in the Middle East has revealed that real estate is the number one preferred investment amongst home buyers and investors in the GCC and Egypt (54%), underlining the buoyancy of the regional property market.
The inaugural Real Estate Barometer conducted by YouGov in partnership with leading real estate conference and exhibition Cityscape Global, looked to unveil a deeper understanding of current and future market sentiment and investment considerations within the region’s commercial and residential real estate landscape. Data collected by the Real Estate Barometer amongst 1,710 respondents from the YouGov Panel and Cityscape Database in the GCC and Egypt between 25 July and 8 August 2016. Data is broadly representative of home buyers and investors in the GCC and Egypt who currently own a property or are willing to buy a property in the next year.
