Sweden’s January Advertiser of the Month – Elgiganten, Scan und Coca-Cola

Elgiganten saw the largest growth this month in terms of Ad Awareness in Sweden, followed by Sacn at number two and Coca-Cola in third place. According to YouGov BrandIndex data, which tracks brand perception on a daily basis, these three brands saw the highest increase in Ad Awareness during Dezember.

The Ad Awareness question asks consumers if they have seen an advertisement for a brand in the previous two weeks, and the difference in scores (highest vs lowest) for the month determines our Advertisers of the Month. 

Elgiganten saw its Ad Awareness score rise by 8.3 percentage points, from 15.5% on Dezember 1st to 23.7% on Dezember 31st.

On second place is Scan which had an increase of 6.9 percentage points, from 5.4% on Dezember 3rd to 12.3% on Dezember 29th. Ranking third on our list is Coca-Cola which had an increase of 6.8 percentage points in Ad Awareness from 20.1% on Dezember 1st to 35.9% on Dezember 19th, 2024.

Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage.
