December UK Advertisers of the month: Jaguar, Baileys and Coca-Cola

According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, which tracks perceptions toward brands on a daily basis, Jaguar registered the biggest increase in Advertising Awareness for December 2024 of all brands YouGov tracks in the UK. The automaker saw an uplift of 13.8 percentage points in the observation period.

Earlier in the month, Jaguar rolled out a rebrand with a new logo and tagline, ‘Copy Nothing’.

Baileys is the brand with the second-highest uptick in Ad Awareness. For Christmas, it rereleased last year’s advertisement starring Hannah Waddingham. The alcoholic beverage brand’s score increased from 19.4% on November 26 to 28.4% on December 24 (+9 percentage points). 

Rounding up the top three brands with the biggest uplift in Ad Awareness in the UK this December is Coca-Cola with its AI-generated Christmas ad. The brand saw a lift of 8.5 percentage points.

Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of British adults aged 18+ between November 26 and December 25, 2024. Learn more about BrandIndex.
