With a 54% positive rating, Eminem leads the pack according to data from YouGov Profiles. He is followed by Pharrell Williams (47%), Ludacris (46%), Pitbull (43%) and Post Malone (41%). Other notable artists in the list include Nicki Minaj (39%), Cardi B (39%), Busta Rhymes (39%), Drake (39%), and Kendrick Lamar (38%).
2. Gen Z adults and millennials are most likely to enjoy Eminem’s music
Starting with age, seven in 10 Gen Z adults and millennials rate him positively (68% from each generation). Two in five come from lower (41%) or middle-income households (39%), are married with no children (40%), and mostly own a dog (54% vs. 40% own cats). Some 35% own an iPhone, 34% have a Samsung phone, and 26% own an SUV.
3. Most Eminem fans spend a lot of time on YouTube
About 45% of Americans who rate Eminem positively spend over an hour weekly on YouTube compared to 39% of all US adults. Instagram is another popular platform, with 35% of Eminem fans spending more than an hour a week in there, compared to 29% of the general population. They are also more active on X (24% vs. 19% of all US adults) and TikTok (23% vs. 18% of the general population).

Fans who rate Eminem positively are more likely to stream music on Spotify (35% vs. 29% of all US adults), Amazon Prime Music (19% vs. 15% of gen pop), or Apple Music (19% vs. 15% gen pop).

Pop music is a favorite for 45% of his fans who rate him positively compared to 40% of all US adults. R&B is another popular genre, favored by 37% of Eminem fans versus 33% of the general population. Rap and hip-hop is obviously on the list, with 36% of fans listing it as a favorite compared to 30% of the general population.

Eminem fans hold strong opinions about the importance of vision and belief in music. 62% believe that it’s crucial for a music artist to have a clear vision or belief, a sentiment shared by 53% of all US adults. They also place significant importance on an artist's social media presence, with 42% considering it the most important place to check in on their favorite artists, compared to 29% of the general population. Additionally, music videos are highly valued among Eminem fans – no surprise, perhaps, given the iconic videos for “Stan” and “Without Me” - with 62% viewing them as an important way to experience music, compared to 49% of all US adults.
