Big Bang Theory, Black Mirror and The Office are the three most-streamed shows in the UK for June 2023. The data comes from YouGov Stream, an opt-in online behaviour tracker that collects global viewership data from a panel of more than 160,000 activated accounts. The chart below shows how many views and viewers each title had on the platform where it was most popular. The chart also shows the average number of views per viewer (Vs/Vr), which is an indicator of how much consumers are bingeing a particular title.
The Big Bang Theory was the most-streamed title in the UK in June, a title it also held in April. It’s also the most binged show, with viewers streaming an average of 45 episodes in a month.
The Office (US version) fell one position to the third most-streamed rank with 41.3m views from 1.3m viewers. Brooklyn Nine-Nine fell significantly in the absolute number of downloads--from 45.6m in May to 25.9m in June--but that was still enough to make it the fifth most-streamed title in the UK.
Charlie Brooker’s tech-dystopian anthology Black Mirror is the second most-streamed title for the month on the strength of its sixth season, released on June 15. The fourth season of semi-autobiographical comedy Never Have I Ever, created by Mindy Kaling, was released on June 8, and has made the show one of the most downloaded in the country.
While Netflix dominates the top ten, Apple TV+’s football comedy Ted Lasso took the ninth spot with 11.6m views in June. Jeremy Clarkson’s motoring series is Amazon Prime Video’s top performer for June. Eurocrash: The Grand Tour follows Clarkson and his co-stars on their adventures en route from Gdańsk, Poland through Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia.
