UAE’s June Advertiser of the Month: Which brands made it to the top?
Seaworld Abu Dhabi saw the most significant growth of all UAE brands in Ad Awareness scores for the month of June, according to data from YouGov BrandIndex. The brand was followed by Armani at number two and Dubai Mall at number three, making them our top three Advertisers of the Month in UAE.
Ad Awareness reflects the share of consumers who say they have seen an advertisement for a brand in the previous two weeks, and the difference in scores (highest vs. lowest) for the month determines our Advertisers of the Month.

The recent inauguration of the much-awaited SeaWorld attraction on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, caused a notable 8.1 percentage point increase in the Ad Awareness score for the amusement park, rising from 10.9% on May 27 to 19% on June 24. Miral Destinations orchestrated the theme park's grand opening event. The launch was enriched by a large orchestra of musicians including Emirati musician Hussain Al Jassmi and Scottish recording artist Red. SeaWorld spans about 183,000 sqm and features five indoor levels.
Armani secured the second spot on YouGov's June Advertiser of the Month in the UAE. Its Ad Awareness metric witnessed a significant 8 percentage-point surge, rising from 14.8% on May 28 to 22.8% on June 25.
Ranking third is Dubai Mall. The brand experienced a 7.4-percentage-point increase in Ad Awareness, climbing from 16.9% on June 6 to 24.3% on June 25.

Methodology
YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” Data from surveys of adults aged 18 years and above residing in the UAE from 26 May to 25 June 2023. Ad Awareness scores are based on a four-week moving average. The change in scores for each brand is calculated by taking the difference between the highest and lowest scoring days within the period.
