What do Hong Kong people think about UBER?
The transportation network company Uber has received a lot of attention in Hong Kong lately. Since the launching of Uber in Hong Kong, many people have tried the service. Customers can request a trip simply from their smartphone apps and the request is then accepted and completed by Uber drivers who carry passengers with their own cars.
However, the legality of Uber has been challenged by governments and taxi companies, who allege that its use of drivers who are not licensed to drive taxicabs is unsafe and illegal.
While government says Uber is illegal, opinions from general public on whether it should be banned diverse. In view of this, YouGov has conducted a survey between the 21st and 24th of August 2015 to understand how the general public of Hong Kong think about Uber. See the details in the below infographic.
