Norway’s December Advertiser of the Month – Elkjøp, Polestar and Kid
Elkjøp saw the largest growth this month in terms of Ad Awareness in Norway, followed by Polestar at number two and Kid in third place. According to YouGov BrandIndex data, which tracks brand perception on a daily basis, these three brands saw the highest increase in Ad Awareness during November.
The Ad Awareness question asks consumers if they have seen an advertisement for a brand in the previous two weeks, and the difference in scores (highest vs lowest) for the month determines our Advertisers of the Month.
Elkjøp saw its Ad Awareness score rise by X.x percentage points, from 26.0% on November 14th to 37.0% on November 29th.
On second place is Polestar which had an increase of 10.5 percentage points, from 9.3% on November 1st to 19.8% on November 29th. Ranking third on our list is Kid which had an increase of 9.3 percentage points in Ad Awareness from 14.9% on November 11th to 24.3% on November 29th, 2024.
Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of Norwegian adults aged 18+ between November 1st and November 30th, 2024. Learn more about BrandIndex.
