Finland’s November Advertiser of the Month – Volvo, Hesburger and Verkkokauppa.com
Volvo saw the largest growth this month in terms of Ad Awareness in Finland, followed by Hesburger at number two and Verkkokauppa.com in third place. According to YouGov BrandIndex data, which tracks brand perception on a daily basis, these three brands saw the highest increase in Ad Awareness during October.
The Ad Awareness question asks consumers if they have seen an advertisement for a brand in the previous two weeks, and the difference in scores (highest vs lowest) for the month determines our Advertisers of the Month.
Volvo saw its Ad Awareness score rise by 13.0 percentage points, from 10.4% on October 4 to 23.4% on October 30.
On second place is Hesburger which had an increase of 12.1 percentage points, from 25.3% on October 1st to 37.4% on October 28th. Ranking third on our list is Verkkokauppa.com which had an increase of 9.1 percentage points in Ad Awareness from 23.7% on October 21 to 32.8% on October 31, 2024.
Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of Finnish adults aged 18+ between October 1st and October 31st, 2024. Learn more about BrandIndex.
