The ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 has captured the interest of cricket fans in markets as per data from YouGov Global Profiles.

India tops the chart, with 88% of adults expressing high interest in the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup. This is not surprising given India's rich cricketing history and recent strong performance, including a win against Pakistan. South Africa follows closely with eight in 10 adults showing keen interest (81%).

In the United Arab Emirates, 66% of adults are interested. Saudi Arabia also shows significant interest, with half of adults engaging with the tournament (49%).

Australia, a strong cricketing nation, has 44% of its adults somewhat interested in the T20 World Cup. In Egypt and Brazil, 35% and 33% of adults, respectively, are following the tournament, indicating cricket's expanding reach.

In Great Britain, where cricket originated, 28% of adults are interested in the T20 World Cup. This relatively lower percentage might reflect the diversity of sports followed in the UK. Ireland, the USA, and Canada show lower interest levels at 22% and 14%. However, notable performances by teams like the USA could likely increase the interest in the region in the upcoming weeks.
