Three in five Traitors viewers think they’d make better Faithfuls

The Traitors has finished for 2024, following a second series full of deceit, manipulation, and object lessons in the perils of confirmation bias. It’s as good a time as any to ask viewers a few general questions about the programme

When asked if they think they’d make better Traitors or Faithfuls, 63% think they’d make better Faithfuls, with 31% saying they’d make good Traitors. But if viewers are more likely to think they’d make good Faithfuls, do they think they’d be good at finding the Traitors hiding among them?

Viewers of the hit gameshow are more likely than not to think that, if they were cast as Faithfuls on the show, they would be good at spotting Traitors (45%). Men are more confident here (50%) than women (42%). Nonetheless, viewers are more likely to think the game is easier for Traitors than Faithfuls.
