GB: Back Market hires marketing head to spur awareness - How aware are Britons of the brand today?
Online marketplace for refurbished electronic devices, Back Market, has appointed Luke Forshaw as its first head of brand and marketing for the UK. Forshaw, who joins from OMD International, is primarily tasked with boosting the retailer’s awareness in the market.
As of today, how well known is the retailer among Britons?
According to YouGov Profiles - which covers demographic, psychographic, attitudinal and behavioral consumer metrics - just 3% of the general Great Britain population has ever heard of Back Market.
Of those who have heard of Back Market, Profiles data shows that 32% of respondents are aged 25 to 39. This is followed by those in the 18 to 24 years age bracket (28%), between ages 40 and 54 (22%) and those above 55 years of age (18%).
