Dacia is the UK’s Automotive Advertiser of the Month for January 2022. The Romanian automaker saw an uptick of 3.1 points between January 1 and January 31, rising from 3.7 to 6.8. The brand has had an active few months, releasing new versions of its Duster vehicle – depicted in a 30-second TV spot launched in December 2021 in a variety of urban and off-road settings – as well as the seven-seater Jogger SUV, which has earned good reviews from some quarters.
This isn’t the first time Dacia has claimed Automotive Advertiser of the Month. Last year, the automaker beat out all other auto brands in July 2021 with an advert for the Sandero car, which has received over 1.7m views on YouTube so far. Whether these marketing efforts will translate into sales remains to be seen, but so far Dacia has done a good job of raising consumer awareness of its campaigns.
