Upcoming Forza Horizon 5 making an impression on Xbox (and PlayStation) users in the US
Ahead of the November launch of Forza Horizon 5, the franchise has seen a hike in brand health, according to YouGov GameIndex – and not just among Xbox users, but among PlayStation users as well.
Our data shows as of mid-October, one in five Xbox owners reported a positive Impression of the title. Its brand scores saw an upswing following its initial trailer in June and again when gameplay previews were shown in August.
Interestingly, the Forza franchise – which remains one of the most important exclusives in the Xbox library – also saw a boost among PlayStation users around these marketing pushes.
This has translated into an increase in purchase consideration for the franchise, again among both Xbox and PlayStation-using gamers. As of mid-October, 14% of the Xbox crowd indicated they would consider playing the title, marking a 34% increase since the start September.
Forza Horizon 5 launches on November 9 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and it's included with Xbox Game Pass.
