In Saudi Arabia and the UAE, where spending time with family & friends whilst eating out is a way of life for many residents, food hygiene & safety at restaurants and cafes is not surprisingly important. Naturally, no one wants to see insects or rodents crawling around while having lunch or dinner & spending their hard earned money. YouGov recently conducted an online survey on people’s experiences and perceptions of food and hygiene safety of restaurants in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, covering a sample size of 766 and 754 urban adults respectively. This survey was conducted between the 22 and 27th of May 2012.
