To this end, we are working with world-leading epidemiology experts in the COVID-19 Response Team at Imperial College, London, to collect behavioural data that will help them – and others like them – better understand how people are responding to the pandemic. The first study from our partnership with them, looking at the public response in Britain to the coronavirus outbreak, was published earlier this month.
However, as an organisation with the ability to find out the views of people around the world, we can do more. As such, we have worked with our partners at Imperial College to create a set of questions that we are running across 30 markets globally. The research focuses on civic compliance across the world and will aid public health agencies’ response to the crisis.
We are providing this data free of charge to healthcare organisations around the globe to aid in their fight against the disease. We hope that by helping those leading the charge against COVID-19 in this way will make some small difference.
