
Norwegian Advertisers of the month: Diplom-Is, Max and TV 2
According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, which tracks perceptions toward brands on a daily basis, Diplom-Is registered the biggest increase in Advertising Awareness for May 2025 of all brands YouGov tracks in Norway. The the Norwegian manufacturer of ice cream saw an uplift of 8.7 percentage points in the observation period, rising from 9.1% to 17.8%.
Max follows with a 8.7 percentage point increase, moving from 8.2% to 16.8%. TV 2 rounds out the top three with a gain of 7.7 percentage points, rising from 10.4% to 18.1%.
Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of Norwegian adults aged 18+ between May 1st and May 31st, 2025. Learn more about BrandIndex.
