The most-streamed TV in the US, March 2025: Reacher, Running Point, and Severance
Reacher, Running Point, and Severance dominated US streaming in March 2025, as Prime Video and Netflix split the top spots in a highly competitive month. Prime Video, which had a quieter showing in previous months, surged back into prominence with multiple series ranking in the top ten.
Reacher claimed the top position with a commanding 217.5 million views and 38 million viewers on Prime Video. Its 6 views per viewer ratio reflects broad appeal and strong viewer retention across its episodes, pushing it far ahead of other titles this month.
Running Point, a new Netflix drama, debuted at #2 with 153.8 million views and 21.5 million viewers. Posting 7 views per viewer, it immediately established itself as a significant new release for the platform, suggesting strong binge-watch behavior among early audiences.
Severance, continuing its momentum from February, held third place with 138.6 million views and 25.2 million viewers. Its consistent performance across two months signals that the Apple TV+ series has successfully expanded beyond its niche audience into more mainstream streaming habits.
Further down the list, Netflix’s Adolescence ranked fourth with 106 million views and a large audience base of 34.7 million viewers. With just 3 views per viewer, the teen-focused drama seems to have attracted a wide but less repeat-engaged audience compared to more binge-heavy titles.
The Residence, another Netflix newcomer, landed at #5 with 95.7 million views and 23.5 million viewers. Its 4 views per viewer ratio indicated steady consumption but slightly less intense engagement.
Prime Video continued its strong showing with The Wheel of Time and Invincible, which ranked sixth and seventh respectively. Invincible demonstrated a healthy rewatch factor with 5 views per viewer, particularly notable for an animated series targeting a more adult audience.
