34% of consumers in Nordic countries report being impacted by increased food prices over the past year.

Since 2006 YouGov have tracked consumers’ views on health and food in Sweden, and since 2007 also in Denmark, Norway and Finland. Our overall objective is to better understand consumers’ knowledge and attitudes, and to track changes in key measures over time. This year, we combine data from bespoke surveys in these countries with purchase data from YouGov Shopper in Sweden and Denmark to reveal what people say they do and what people actually do..

We offer insights based on:

  • Gain insight on consumers views on health and food, and the impact on the climate
  • How does the purchase behaviour look for private labels and what are the attitudes towards private label compared to well-known brands?
  • How many people have been boycotting American food and goods?
  • People state they buy less meat, but how much? And why?
