Cryptocurrencies are growing in popularity these past few years. Latest research from YouGov shows that around 39% of Thais own at least one type of cryptocurrency, with this percentage rising to 44% among Thais aged 25-34. Financial investment – rather than item purchases or money transfers – is the main reason that most Thais would buy cryptocurrency.
